Early detection and treatment of renal activity may spare SLE patients from intensive immunosuppressive therapies and reduce renal damage. Renal biopsy is the gold standard for providing information of LN and relative degree of activity and chronicity in the glomeruli. However, it is invasive and serial biopsies are required which is impractical. Our study aimed to assessment of the role of urinary (MCP-1) in early diagnosis of lupus nephritis activity
