Background: Approximately 20% of diabetic neuropathy patients have neuropathic pain,TENS and HILT are used to relieve pain in diabetic polyneuropathy patients for improving their quality of life. objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the effect TENS versus High intensity laser therapy on sensory and motor nerves in diabetic polyneuropathy. Methods: Forty diabetic patients' men and women had symptoms of neuropathy in lower limbs their ages ranged from 50 to 60 years old selected outpatient clinic from physical therapy center at Suez Canal authority and were divided randomly into two main equal groups in number: group (I) 20 patients were assigned for TENS, group (II) 20 patients were assigned for HILT, sensory and motor nerve conduction studies and LEFS were assessed for both groups before and after the study, each group had 3 sessions per week for 5 weeks as the total duration of the study, Results: of this study found that, both TENS study and HILT study were significant but data showed that HILT was better than TENS in management of diabetic polyneuropathy. Conclusion: HILT was more beneficial than TENS in management of diabetic polyneuropathy
