Summary: This study aims to define a method of enhancing creativity of students’ products in design studio through using musical abstraction as that tool needed. Through an experiment on year 1 and year 2 architectural students. The study also aims to quantify the change in creativity level of students’ products when using music and without it. The study targets design studio students as it is the core course in architectural education. Measuring the creativity level of students’ products is done using the CAT test through an experiment on a given design task to students while listening to different genres of music and without music. The results are statistically analyzed and showed an improvement in the creativity level of the products created with music. Furthermore, a deep impact on the students’ visualization ability and abstraction occurred during this experiment.Summary: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد طريقة لتحسين الابداع لطلاب استوديو التصميم المعماري من خلال استخدام التجريد الموسيقي. من خلال تجربة على طلاب الهندسة المعمارية في السنة الأولى والثانية. كما تهدف الدراسة إلى قياس التغير في مستوى الإبداع لمنتجات الطلاب عند استخدام الموسيقى وبدونها. تستهدف الدراسة طلاب استوديو التصميم حيث أنه المنهج الأساسي في التعليم المعماري. يتم قياس مستوى الإبداع لمنتجات الطلاب باستخدام اختبار لقياس درجة الابداع لمنتجات الطلاب اثناء العمل على تصميم معين أثناء الاستماع إلى أنواع مختلفة من الموسيقى وبدون موسيقى. تم تحليل النتائج إحصائيا وقد أظهرت تلك النتائج تحسنا في مستوى الإبداع للمنتجات التي تم إنشاؤها باستخدام الموسيقى. علاوة على ذلك، حدث تأثير عميق على قدرة الطلاب على التصور والتجريد خلال هذه التجربة
