Thesis (M.A.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Arts - Department of English
Wars and international policies have often inspired artists and enriched artistic movements. Similarly, Us-led wars against lraq in 1991 and 2003 and its policy of detention in guantanamo naval base in cuba have resulted in a kind of theatre that could be categorized as "theatre of war". The purpose of this research, therefore, is to trace the impact of contemporary American foreign policy especially in the middle east, on the theatrical movement
