Psoriasis is a chronic, currently incurable immune-mediated skin disease. Activated T cells, monocytes, and pro-inflammatory cytokines, most notably interferon alpha (IFN-Ü) and interferon gamma (IFN-y) have all been shown to play pivotal roles in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Studies have reported high prevalence of hepatitis C infection (HCV) among patients with psoriasis
