Many recent efforts have been directed towards new micro invasive procedures that have more safety profile using new micro-shunt devices with different approaches either by: {uF0B7} Enhancing the filtration into Subconjunctival space: ExPress and XEN gel device {uF0B7} enhancing Shlemm{u2019}s canal pathway Hydrus, TM Istent and iStent inject, {uF0B7} enhancing the filtration into Suprachoriodal space: Gold micro-shunt, STARflo and CyPass. Those micro shunt devices provide an ideal surgical therapeutic approach to glaucoma management. They are easy to perform, reproducible, and effective for adequate IOP control with low incidence of postoperative complications
