Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Zoology
Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus ) is considered one of the most important commercial fish species in Egypt . Seasonal variations of water characteristics predominantly temperature are considered to strongly affect fish immunology and physiology . The present study was conducted to investigate some immunological (humoral responses ) and physiological (RBCs, WBCs, Hb, MCV ,MCH, MCHC, SSI, and K) parameters of O. niloticus fish injected intramuscularly (i.m) with MRBCs and to estimate their potential association with seasonal variations and also to assess the immunogenicity of the infectious pancreatic necrotic virus (IPNV) - derived peptide constructs
