Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Civil Engineering Summary: The research focuses on the use of metakaolin to produce hybrid concrete with geopolymer composite through two different techniques. The first technique is to use it as an alternative to cement by replacing cement with different percentages of 10%, 25%, 50%, 100%. And the second technique is to use as an addition to cement by 5%, 5.7%, 10%. These two technologies have been applied to two categories of concrete according to the cement content, namely cement with 350 kg / m3 cement content and cement content of 450kg / m3. The results showed that the addition of metakaolin as a base material for the production of hybrid concrete as a geopolymeric compound reduced the workability of the concrete for each of the two techniques used. In addition, the addition of metakaolin increased the compressive strength by more than 45% in the case of replacing the metakaolin as an alternative to cement by 100% in concrete with a cement content of 450 kg / m3 while the increase in case of cement content 350 kg / m3 was 100%. In case of adding 10% metakaolin to concrete an increaseof17%incompressivestrengthwasobserved
