Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Dental Materials Summary: The aim of this study was to prepare zinc phosphate cement powder from Egyptian chemicals and comparing the results to the ADA specification number ( 8 ) and ( 96 ) . For this purpose two commercially available zinc phosphate cements ( Ad and A1 ) were subjected to extensive chemical analysis to determine the exct composition of their powder quantitavely and qualitatively using X - ray diffraction analysis ( XRD ) and X - ray florescence ( XRF )
