Pcrcutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA ) has a definite place in the management of peripheral arterial occlusive disease of the lower limb . It has widely accepted as a line of treatment for many patients with femoropopliteal disease . The low complication rate and relatively non invasive nature of PTA has made it an increasing popular intervention
