Inhaled corticosteroids are the most effective long - term therapy available for treatment of bronchial asthma leptin is an adipocyte derived hormone that play a role in the regulation of body weight and it is reported to be high in the asthmatic patients In the current study there was a significant improvement in asthmatic patients after treatment with medium and high dose ICS (clinically and by pulmonary function tests)
