Psoriasis is a common inflammatory skin disease characterized by abnormal keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation , both E - cadherin and Ý - catenin are important for epidermal interellular adherence in addition Ý - catenin also acts as a transcription factor as of the Wnt signalling pathway . To assess the presence and distribution of E - cadherin and Ý - catenin in psoriasis in order to investigate their possible role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis
