Functionally graded materials (FGMs) are a class of composite materials that consist of two materials, and are manufactured so that the composition of the constituent materials is gradually varied in one or two directions, from one end-surface to the other, resulting in a smooth variation of material properties. In this work, an analytic solution is presented for the postbucking behavior of shallow cylindrical shells made of functionally graded materials under compressive loads and temperature fields
