Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Neurosurgery
Epidermoid tumors are dysembryogenic lesions that represent 0.2 - 1.8 % of intracranial tumors . They typically occur in the cerebellopontine angle ( CPA ) and represent 4.6 - 6.3 % of all CPA lesions . After acoustic neurinomas and meningiomas , these lesions are the third most common lesions in the CPA ( Caldarelli et al., 2004 )
