Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Pharmacy - Department of Analytical Chemistry Summary: The aim of this work is to develop rapid, accurate, precise, and economic methods for the quantitative determination of some drugs used in the treatment of ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), depression and erectile dysfunction, namely, atomoxetine HCl, dapoxetine HCl and fluoxetine HCl in their pure powder form, in laboratory prepared mixtures, pharmaceutical formulations and/or biological fluid. In this study different analytical techniques were adopted, namely, chromatographic, spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric methods for the determination of the studied compounds in presence of their degradation products or in their combined dosage forms.

The aim of this work is to develop rapid, accurate, precise, and economic methods for the quantitative determination of some drugs used in the treatment of ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), depression and erectile dysfunction, namely, atomoxetine HCl, dapoxetine HCl and fluoxetine HCl in their pure powder form, in laboratory prepared mixtures, pharmaceutical formulations and/or biological fluid.
