Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Summary: The aim of the current study was to evaluate the efficacy of the use of ozonized oil in reducing post-operative complications after impacted mandibular third molar surgery. The included patients were randomly divided into two equal groups (15 patients in each group), in group 1 (study group) ozonized oil was placed into sockets after surgical removal of impacted mandibular third molar and patients were instructed to use cotton buds as application to apply ozonized oil at the surgical site 3 times daily for 5 days starting from the second day postoperatively
