Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Civil Engineering
The thesis presents the results of an experimental study was carried out to investigate the effect of using three different types of cements (Ordinary Portland cement 42.5N, Sulfate-Resisting cement 42.5N and blended cement) and two types of admixtures (lime stone powder and ground dust) on self-compacting concrete properties (compressive and splitting tensile strength and shrinkage). Five mixtures were made from each type of cement. The results showed that the O.P.C had the highest strength and the highest shrinkage value. Also, the used type of super-plasticizer is not efficient with the S.R.C
