Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D)-Cairo University, 2023. Summary: the purpose of the study is to measure the IT and cloud governance impact on IT sector unit’s performance and hence to investigate the correlation between the existing implemented IT and cloud governance practices, including structures; processes; and relational capabilities; and IT sector departments performance outcomes in IT sector of the four mobile operators in Egypt. Design/methodology/approach: The study begins with Exploratory research followed by descriptive Research to understand and analyze the impact of the main variables (IT governance mechanisms, cloud governance mechanisms) on financial and nonfinancial IT sector departments’ performance. This Descriptive Research was targeted to test Research Hypotheses.
