Methods:- Thirty patients with lower limb venous ulcers were randomly divided into two groups. Group (A) received the monochromatic infrared energy plus the traditional ulcer care. Group (B) received only the traditional ulcer care, duration of treatment was 30 minutes daily, every other day for 12 weeks. Results:- It showed that the monochromatic infrared energy was effective and beneficial in decreasing ulcer surface area and ulcer volume as well as improving healing of the lower limb venous ulcers.
