Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Radio-Diagosis Summary: Hodgkin disease has a bimodal distribution of incidence peaking in young adulthood and again after the age of 50 years. Four subtypes are described: nodular sclerosis (the most common histological subtype), lymphocyte-rich, mixed cellularity and lymphocyte depleted. The two most common forms of mediastinal non-Hodgkin disease include diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma mainly occurs in children and adolescents (Juanpere S. et al., 2013) (Aggarwal R. et al., 2017).
