Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Power Engineering Summary: The main objective of the research conducted in the thesis is to study the airflowregimes and thermal comfort in vehicle cabinconsidering solar radiation using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. For this purpose, FLUENT 17.2 is employed, in which the solar radiationmodel is embedded s2s (surface to surface). The CFD modelling techniques solved the continuity, momentum, energy conservation equations and radiosityin addition to standard k {u2013} f model equations for turbulence closure. Meshing is processed around 4.0 million unstructured tetra-elements approximately
