Instability can be defined as the clinical statues of the patient with back problems whom with the least provocation steps from the mildly symptomatic to the severe episode . During the acute phase the patient may have backache alone or backache with radiating sciatica with or without neurologic signs Certain symptoms can alert the physician to instability such as recurrent low back pain accompaanied by sciatica with or without neurologic signs
