Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Chemical Engineering Summary: As there is shortage of Diesel product in Egypt in the past10years, this thesis includes study of 8 different cases.These studies used Kerosene and light vacuum gas oil products with Diesel to produce mid distillate products that could be used as Diesel. ASTM classification of Diesel is used to select the accepted samples among all case studies. They include stripping of Kerosene and rectifying of light vacuum gas oil at different conditions. The percentage of yield increase is measured withthe price of each sample. By products like heavy vacuum gas oil and light Kerosene is produced
