Recently, latent semantic anslysis (LSA) has been suggested as one of the most promising approaches for text summarization. In this context, LSA can be viewed as a way to overcome two major challenges of text summarization, namely (i) sparseness and (ii) high dimensionality. Eventually, LSA similarity is computed in a lower dimensional space, in which second-order relations among terms and texts are exploited
