This study included data of 41 children who underwent orthotropic living related liver transplantation within the Pediatric Liver Transplantatin Program in Wadi El Nile hospital that was initiated in January 2001. They were transplanted for various indications. Of them 20 (48.7%) were males and 21(51%) were females. The mean for total duration in hospital were 32.3 ± 23.3 days, ICU duration is a predictor of death (p=0.008), Hight and weight percentile at operation , age at operation , room duration not a predictor of survival , cured outcome or postoperative complication , Mmf is predictor of death and poor outcome by regression analysis (p=0.017) (p=0.027) respectively. Level of bilirubin and enzymes at operation had no relation to patient or graft survival, 1st year ischemia correlate negatively with cured and improved outcome (p=0.178) (p=0.704)
