3D Motion estimation of human body is very important field and has many practical applications in several areas , like clinical studies , control remotely located implements , virtual reality and video gamesA motion estimation system for tracking 3D articulated human body model and estimating the 3D position of its joints is proposedProjective Kalman Filter (PKF) is one of the newest filters used for both tracking and estimation stages where joints' 3D positions are estimated in the estimation phase and fed back to the prediction phase to aid in tracking these jointsAs the motion of a person - or an object - is not always in uniform velocity , it is important to take acceleration of motion into accountSo , acceleration is added to be one of the state parameters estimated by (PKF)
