The objectives of the present study on chicory plants during the two successive season 2010 and 2010-2011 at Agricultural Research Centre farm, Giza Governorate, Egypt were Survey of insect, mite pests and their important predators occurred on chicory plants and their identification. Studying the population density of the most important insect and mite pests and their associated main predators on chicory plants during the two tested season. Preliminary study on the effect of intercropping chicory with sugar beet plants in the field on the population of insect and mite pests infesting chicory plants.
