Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - National Institute of Laser Enhanced - Department of Laser Application in Medican and Biological Summary: Forty female patients were randomized into two equal groups. Group A received needle acupuncture therapy according to traditional Chinese medicine with electrical stimulation for 20 min at standard acupoints, ear points and Ashi point on the average 3 points. Group B received low level laser therapy (LLLT) at the same acupoints. Each patient received 3 sessions/week for 4 weeks
