Centrifugal pumps design and performance prediction process is a complex task, due to the number of geometric parameters involved. Due to the large complexity of flow and geometry, which need to be investigated, Theoretical approach merely gives values. CFD analysis is currently being used due to the progress of numerical methods and computer capability, centrifugal pumps nowadays has been analyzed by using CFD software to predict pump performance at design and off - design conditions and cavitations analysis in advance to save time and cost. CFD simulation is used to predict performance and effect of changes in some design parameters of low specific speed centrifugal pump) Adding splitter blades to pump impeller, increase outlet blade angle, effect of increase radial gab between impeller and volute and the effect of change volute cross section shape (round, rectangular and trapezoid)( in the present research work
