The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of systemic intramuscular route versus local endoalveolar administration of Dexamethasone on the postoperative pain , swelling and trismus following impacted lower third molar surgery . Thirty patients underwent surgical extraction of lower third molars and were randomly assigned to receive either 8 mg Dexamethasone by intramuscular injection (group A) or 10 mg dexamethasone as endo-alveolar powder (group B).
