Integrated petrophysical characterization for flow unit identification in Abumadhi formation, West khilala , gas field, Nile Delta / Mohamed Ahmed Abozeid Mohamed ; Supervised Abdelsattar A. Dahab , Abdulaziz M. Abdulaziz

By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextLanguage: English Publication details: Cairo : Mohamed Ahmed Abozeid Mohamed , 2016Description: 92 P. : charts , maps ; 30cmOther title:
  • تكامل الخصائص البتروفيزيقية لتعريف وحدات التدفق بتكوين أبو ماضى فى حقل غرب خلاله للغاز - دلتا النيل [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Metallurgical Engineering Summary: Well log data of 8 wells are investigated in details using Interactive Petrophysics (IP 3.4) software to examine the reservoir properties and their distribution in the reservoir. In addition, using MultiLinear Regression approach taking core permeability as a reference to predict permeability in uncorred wells to identify the hydraulic flow unit in Abu Madhi Formation. The results illustrate that there are five hydraulic flow units and four hydraulic capacities. The correlation between these hydraulic flow units demonstrates the continuance of these flow units in net pay zone in Abu Madhi Formation at West Khilala Field
