It accounts for 30% of all cancers diagnosed in children less than 15 years of age. In the majority of cases of childhood leukemia, the cause is unknown. This retrospective study included 110 newly diagnosed cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia presented to the pediatric oncology department at Nasser Institute, Ministry of Health and Population, in the period from February 2004 till the end of August 2010
