A multiscale analysis approach is used which the nanotubes are represented by a continuum beam model. This model is applied to the continuum matrix in the location and orientation of nanotubes to represent the nanotubes reinforced composites. Some of the nanotubes are damaged. Besides, additional material cracks are considered
