  • تحسين خواص الطفلة المائية باستخدام المواد متناهية الصغر لحفر الأبار العميقة [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Metallurgical Engineering Summary: Recently, the applications of Nano material in oil industry is increasing and seem to be promising, especially in drilling fluids studies. In the present research, Multi-walled carbon nanotubes were added to water based drilling mud to investigate their effect at high pressure high temperature conditions. The results of this study led to concluding that the viscosity, yield point and gel strength can be improved by using nanoparticles additive. Also, filtration loss, mud cake thickness and friction factor can be minimized
