The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of a unilateral great toe amputation on plantar pressures distribution under the sole of the foot (both the amputated and contralateral intact foot) in non insulin dependent diabetic patients . This study comprised fifteen non insulin dependent diabetic subjects (nine males and six females) who had a ubnilateral great toe amputation their age ranged from 46 to 65 years
