The present study has been designed as a preliminary investigation to assess the level of salivary immunoglobulin A (slgA) in response to three different complete denture base materials; heat cure acrylic resin, thermoplastic acrylic resin (Thermopress) and cobalt chromium alloy (Co-Cr) (Vitallium) with heat cure acrylic resin flanges. This study has been conducted on twenty one fully edentulous systemically free male patients selected from the outpatient clinic, the removable prosthetic Department, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University
