Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Objectives: To investigate histologically clinically and radiographically the potential of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) as a socket graft material to enhance bone regeneration afeter tooth extraction and in a trial to minimize alveolar ridge collapse prior to dental implant placement in the mandible . Conclusion : Resorption of the alveolar ridge after extraction of teeth can be reduced considerably by simultaneous augmentation of the alveolar ridge with platelet rich fibrin
