Background: Recycling of the resected tumour bearing bone has been used as a method for limb reconstruction in limb salvage surgeries.Thisbiological reconstruction by recycling bony tumours is one of the popular options. In recycling,tumour bearing bone issterilized by autoclaving, irradiation or freezing by liquid nitrogen.Objectives: To assess the functional outcomes,recurrence rates and complications in patients with primary malignant musculoskeletal tumourstreated with wide resection and recycled autograft reconstruction after sterilization.Methods: Fourty-five patients who had a primary malignant bone and soft tissuetumour were treated by wide resection and reimplantation of tumour bearing bone after sterilization by autoclaving, irradiation or freezing by liquid nitrogenbetweenSeptember 1997 to May 2019. Results: The most common bony tumour was osteosarcoma (22 cases) followed by Ewing{u2019}s sarcoma (13 cases).The most common site was femur (20 cases) followed by tibia (10 cases).The mean follow-up period was 53.3 months. The survival rates of patients in 1,3,5 and 10 years were 100%, 86.5%, 86.5% and 86.5% respectively. Limb survival rates in 1,3,5 and 10 years were 97.8%, 88.7%, 88.7% and 88.7% respectively. Graft survival rates in 1,3,5 and 10 years were 95%, 72.0%, 72.0% and 72.0% respectively
