Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - National Cancer Institute - Department of Oncology (Surgical) Summary: It{u2019}s a retrograde study to assess the loco regional control free survival and overall survivor for patients diagnosed with T1 and T2 breast cancer. From 2006 till 2010, 223 patients were diagnosed with T1 or T2 breast cancer. Only 187 of them matched the inclusion criteria of this study. The study concluded that the factors that affect the loco regional recurrence are lymph node involvement more than 4 lymph nodes, HER 2 positive tumors and not receiving hormonal therapy. While the factors that affected the overall survival are lymph node involvement more than 4 and the longer the duration between the diagnosis of breast cancer and its treatment
