Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Musculoskeletal Disorders Summary: Forward head posture is the most common cervical postural fault in the sagittal plane. This mal posture has been associated with neck pain and dysfunction. Interestingly, head and neck anthropometry has been associated with certain neck dysfunctions and injuries such as cervicogenic headache and whiplash injury. Thus, investigating the role of anthropometry as a possible risk factor for the development of cervical mal posture could direct the preventive efforts of neck pain and dysfunction in at risk individuals such as computer users. Moreover, this could direct the efforts towards constructing ergonomic appliances that minimize or prevent the development of such problem. To investigate if there is an association between selected anthropometric measurements of neck and head and the severity of forward head posture
