To determine whether transforming growth factor B1 (TGFB1) gene nueleotide T869 (codon10) polymorphism is associated with the development and or severity of rheumatoid arthritis (R A) .30RA patients and 20 healthy age and sex matched subjects are tested for TGFB1 (T869C) polymorphism using Polmerase chain reaction - restretion fragment length polymorphism (PCR - RLP)
