Thirty Down syndrome children with ages ranged from six to eight years from both sexes participated in this study. They were divided equally and randomly into two groups (control and study). All children in the two groups were assessed for their medial arch of foot by staheli's planter arch index and the foot posture index for both feet before and after three successive months of treatment. Control group received traditional physical therapy program in form of strengthening exercise for foot muscles, gait training and balance training, while study group received the same physical therapy program given to control group in addition to kinesio tape application. The results of this study revealed high statistically significant improvement in both groups in all measured variables when comparing their pre and post treatment mean values. Also, there was significant improvement in post treatment mean values when comparing both groups in favor of the study group. From the obtained results of this study, it can be concluded that Kinesio tape had a beneficial effect in improving the flat foot in children with down syndrome
