This is a study in comparative literature in the domain of travel literature . It analyzes four travel books written by well known travellers to Arabia namely Richard Burton's Personal Narrative of a Pilgrimage to Almadinah and Meccah (1854) Charles Doughty's Travels in Arabia Deserta (1888) Wilfred Thesiger's Arabian Sands (1959) and William Polk's Passing Brave (1973). the aim of the research is to show the writers' different perspectives to Arabia . It also aims at showing whether they stuck to reality or romanticized the scene in their descriptions of the Arab land
