Bibliography: pages 102-117.
This thesis focuses on architectural heritage conservation through nanotechnology in Egypt. The theoretical study contains the first chapter and deals with the research problem, methodology, and then literature review. The second chapter deals with the types of heritage and conservation. The third chapter presents the technology of nanomaterials and their applications in the conservation processes. The fourth chapter discusses the concept of sustainability and green heritage, then the fifth chapter which is the evaluation methodology for the heritage conservation through nanotechnology, which presents a comparative analysis for projects of heritage buildings in which nanomaterials had been applied in the conservation processes with an explanation of all those processes, and this resulted in the analytical and decision-making model for the heritage conservation through nanotechnology which lead to the guideline of using these materials with the types of heritage buildings’ construction materials in the conservation processes, then the thesis concludes with results, recommendations, and future studies in chapter six
