Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Analytical Chemistry Summary: In continuation to our interest in screen printing technology, modified screen printed and carbon paste electrodes modified with phenanthrolinetetraphenyl borate ionophore [Phen:TPB] were fabricated for the determination of copper ({u2161}). The modified electrodes reveals linear response over wide concentration range of 1 x 10⁻⁶- 1 x 10⁻² mol L⁻¹ at 25{u00B0}C of copper ({u2161}) ion with a divalent cationic slope of 29.85 ± 0.58 and 29.45 ± 0.81 mV decade⁻¹ and exhibit detection limit of 1 x 10⁻⁶ mol L⁻¹ for SPE and CPE, respectively
