Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Design and Production Summary: In thie study, nanocomposites based on magnesium alloy system AZ91 were fabricated through semi-solid rheocasting (SSR) technique. Al₂O₃ (alpha) nanoparticles wewe added to the AZ91 alloy with different weight fractions. The results showed that Al₂O₃ nanoparticles were successfully mixed with AZ91 semi-solid slurry using mechanical stirrer technique.
