By using BIS dexmedetomedine had more potent adjuvant anesthetic effect compared to midazolam, moreover dexmedetomedine had a shorter recovery times in comparison to midazolam Dexmedetomedine was found to a good alternative to other drugs used as premedicants to attenuate hemodynamic unstability, it can be safe in day case procedures as it allows good sedative effect and easy arousability with a short recovery times
