Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Oncology - Radiotion Summary: This is a retrospective study carried out at radiotherapy department National Cancer Institute on 1009 patients treated for primary breast cancer between 1999 - 2003 with a median follow up 68 months . The peak incidence of age was in the fifth decade (44.9% ) then the fourth decade of life (22.8%) . Premenopausal patients constitutes about one half of our patients (484 patients 47.9%) while Postmenopausal patients constituted 36.6% cases perimenopausal (156 cases)
