SLE is systemic chronic illness of unknomn cause . It is characterized by the presence of multiple autoantibodies that participate in immunologically mediated tissue injury . Tinnitus and hearing loss both reversible and irreversible in SLE patients may also be precipitated by the drugs used in management of the disease among these drugs are anti-malarial drugs (Seligmann et al., 1996) . Hearing loss was significantly related to the disease activity and severity and seizures
