Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Summary: Was to compare the effect of intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate versus corticosteroids for the treatment of internal derangement of the temporomandibular joint in anterior disc displacement with reduction. This study included 12 female patients suffered from unilateral anterior disc displacement with reduction divided into Group 1: six patients received two intra-articular injections of 1m1 sodium hyaluronate, 14 days apart and Group 11: six patients received intra-articular injections of 1m1 Betamethasone followed by another 1m1 after 3 months
